Gregorian College Shines at Kerala State Senior Wushu Championship 2024

The 33rd Kerala State Senior (Men and Women) Wushu Championship 2024, held on September 3-4 at V.K. Krishna Menon Indoor Stadium, Kozhikode, saw an exceptional performance from the Gregorian College students. Hanna Ani Johnson of S5 B.Com clinched the Gold Medal (Nangun), while Aparna A.R of S5 B.com secured the Silver Medal ( Quanshu). Their outstanding performance has added a prestigious feather to the Gregorian Colleges cap, making this achievement a remarkable milestone for the institution.

GCAS Inter-Departmental 3’s Football Tournament: The Department of Physical Education conducted an Inter-Departmental 3’s Football Tournament at the GCAS College ground on 13-7-2024 from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm. The Department of Economics emerged as the winners of the Tournament. The Commerce and Psychology Departments won the Second and Third Prizes respectively. Mr. Arun Vishwanadh, Head, Dept of Physical Education organised the event.

8th American Flag Football State Championship held at Central Stadium Tvm on 8th July, 2023. GCAS girls and boy’s teams represented Trivandrum and Ernakulam. The Girls team achieved First Position and the Boys team finished Second Position.

Senior National Men and Womens Flag Football Championship 2022-23 : The Kerala Womens team won the first position and the Mens team secured the second position in the Senior National Men and Womens Flag Football Championship organized by the American Football Federation of India on 19-20 December 2022 at Skyking Football Academy, Secunderabad, Telangana. The Kerala womens team won the top spot by defeating the strong Karnataka team 16-00, while the mens team won the second spot against Telangana 30-28.
