The ‘Health Club’ of GCAS was inaugurated by Dr. Leena L Krishnan, Senior Consultant Radiologist, Ananthapuri Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram at 1pm on 16-11-2023. The inaugural function was followed by an interactive session for the girl students, organised by Health Club and Women's cell in association with IQAC on the topic "Adolescent Health". The session covered all the major issues faced by girls during adolescent period. All the queries from the side of students were also cleared during the session. The program started with a prayer. Ms. Manjusha Mohan J (Co-ordinator, Health Club) welcomed the gathering. Honorable Principal Dr. R Gopakumar delivered the presidential address and college administrator Rev. Fr. Joseph Chacko extended the felicitation. As a token of respect and acknowledgment a momento was presented to the chief guest by the principal. Seminar was concluded with vote of thanks by Ms. Keerthana K S (Convenor-women's cell).
