On February 14th, 2024, the PG Department of Commerce in association with Career Guidance Cell, IQAC &Asian School of Business (ASB) organized a Career Orientation Programme for the B.Com Final Year students. The session was handled by Mr. George Thomas, (Faculty) and Mr. Abhijith P S, (Marketing Manager), ASB. Mr George sir talked about the importance of industry knowledge, stressing its essential role in securing job opportunities, and shared his personal experiences to illustrate its significance. Meanwhile, Mr. Abhijith explored various career options, providing students with a comprehensive overview and touching on the benefits of MBA programs. The seminar facilitated meaningful discussion and equipped attendees with the knowledge and resources needed to embark on fulfilling career journeys. A Handy Booklet was also distributed among the students which consists of various Career & Higher Study options, tips to face interviews, questions for various competitive examinations etc.
