The State Disaster Management Authority organised a Drowning Prevention Awareness Programme at Jimmy George Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram, from 10 am to 1 pm on 25th July 2024. Nine Cadets from GCAS including Alok V.S., Mathew Jacob, Shinsha Saheed K., Mayookha M.S., Manasa M., Adithya Krishna D.J., Athul Dev R., Abhishek A.S.,and Anilan S.S. from S3 B. Com participated. The event focused on water safety, first aid techniques, and emergency response strategies. The Cadets found it highly informative and beneficial, gaining valuable skills to promote water safety within their Communities.
